For UK residents applying for an Italian Schengen visa: the Italian consulate in London handles appointments only through VFS Global. We check your document file and watch the Italy calendar, then alert you as soon as a date opens so you can book it yourself.

A nurse in London with a family wedding in Italy in June needs Schengen visas for herself and her daughter. The Italy calendar shows nothing for weeks. Her file check finds that her employer letter does not state her leave dates, and she gets a new one. Ten days later an alert arrives early in the morning: dates have opened. She books both appointments herself on the official portal before work.
See pricesIf you live in the UK and need a Schengen visa for Italy, there is only one way in: the Consulate General of Italy in London states that appointments are managed exclusively through its service partner, VFS Global. You cannot book with the consulate directly, and you cannot apply at another country's centre instead.
The Italy calendar at VFS Global is often full for weeks. New dates appear when appointments are released or cancelled and usually go quickly. Many applicants spend days refreshing the portal and still miss them, especially when they need several appointments for a family.
The second common problem is the file itself. A missing or wrongly dated document can mean a wasted appointment, and then the wait starts again. So we work on both: the file and the appointment.
First, you tell us about your trip and your situation — work or self-employment, who is travelling, dates and purpose. You get a document list for your case. You send us the documents you have collected, and we check the whole file: dates, amounts, names that match across the form and the documents, and anything missing. Gaps come back as a short list so you can fix them before the appointment.
Second, we watch the VFS Global Italy calendar for you. As soon as an appointment opens, you get an alert by email, for your whole group. Then you log in to the official portal and book it yourself, with your own account.
We do not log in to your account, do not hold or resell appointments and do not get around any protection on the VFS Global website. Your application and your appointment stay in your hands.
Be ready to act when the alert arrives. Before you start, set up your account on the portal and keep your passport details at hand, so booking takes minutes.
An alert means that a date was visible when we checked. It does not guarantee that the date will still be available when you open the portal, and we cannot promise when new dates will appear. The decision on your visa is made by the consulate, and the official fees are paid at the centre, not to us.
Your documents contain personal data. We use them only to check your file and do not share them with anyone.
